Broccoli & Avocado Pesto w/ Almonds (Vegan)

Ingredients:

• 1/4 cup raw almonds
• 8 ounces od your favorite pasta, uncooked (I used whole wheat fusilli)
• 1/2 large head broccoli (or broccolini), lightly steamed and chopped
• 3 cloves garlic, peeled
• 1 avocado
• 1/2 cup chopped fresh basil, packed
• 1/4 cup olive oil
• 1 tablespoon lemon juice
• 2-3 tablespoons water (or more as needed)
• salt and pepper to taste
